The Team
Born and raised in Austria, the three Baatarnators have fought together in school, university and business to make the world a better place. Having failed to do so in the last couple of years they now take a break, travel far away, and having arrived there they will try to come up with a new plan for the world-better-place-thing.
Patrick Praher
A gifted adventurer, primarily in the Internet jungle. Since he was a small boy Patrick always wanted to see Ulaanbaatar. Now it's finally happening: As the chief passenger-seat-warmer Patrick is the main source for passenger-seat-heat and will provide the Baatarnators with professional seat-warmth on the 13.000 kilometer trip to Mongolia. For more than 24 years, Patrick trained for this challenge, and now is one of the top-seat-warmers on this planet. We are proud to have Patrick as a distinguished professional in his field on board!

Marco Praher
Born for the road Marco (24) finally will realize his dream of a journey that takes him more than a 100 kilometers far away from his home. His previous record was 89, and his daily commute to work (34 kilometers) already prepared him well, so therefore we do not have to worry regarding homesickness or worse. As our expert for travel-snacks and as the personal team-DJ for the Baatarnators Marco will provide the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed trip to which we are all looking forward already.

Dominik Aumayr
Titled Navigateur par excellence Dominik is our replacement for the booed-by-the-organizers GPS. As a marketing expert, he builds the most beautiful and best websites for Mongol Rally teams that this world has ever seen. His skills as a communicator between cultures will be tested in supermarkets and petrol stations in the remotest areas of (Kasach-/Usbeki-/Tadschiki-/Kirgi-) stan and thus he will proof to be our reliable source of food and fuel.

Together they will try to reach Ulaanbaatar as unscathed as possible and yet not entirely problem-free. What exactly they want to prove, and how this will work out is still in the unknown. But one thing is sure: They definitely will keep you up-to-date in the logbook.
